Miller, Spallina take home Newsday Player of the Year Awards

Revolution Athletics swept the Player of the Year Awards for lacrosse on Thursday when Maddigan Miller (Bayport-Blue Point) and Joey Spallina (Mount Sinai) were announced the winners by Newsday.

Miller finished up the year with 36 Goals, 16 assists, and 26 caused turnovers to lead BBP to their first Long Island Championship victory for Class C. Maddigan is committed to play for Stanford next year.

Spallina led the Mustangs to a Class C championship of their own, and contributed a Long Island best 122 points along the way. Joey will have one more year at Mount Sinai before playing up north for Syracuse.
